Day 1 Meet in Shannon Airport, County Clare or Guesthouse/Hotel in the local area. We will have on opening Celtic Gathering at Bunratty, County Clare (meeting at 9.30am) beginning your introduction to Celtic Spirituality and we will share details of our time together. Following lunch we will travel in our private vehicle to an ancient stone circle where we will participate in a simple Celtic Ritual. Begin to connect with the Land of Eire and to have a feel for our ancient landscape.
Drive south to the beauty and wonder of County Kerry to Killarney where we will be staying. This will be our home away from home for the first days of our Celtic Journey. Settle in to your accommodations, then enjoy a welcome dinner.
Day 2 A morning gathering to further unfold the natural gems of the Celtic tradition, hearing about the importance of the Celtic Monastic Tradition and learning about Celtic Spirituality through blessings, prayers, poetry, music, song and Celtic chant. We then take an enchanting boat journey on Killarney’s glorious Lakes, stopping at a lakeside café for lunch and stepping onto the holy island of Inishfallen where a little time will be available for contemplation. Continue to experience the majesty and beauty of the lakes before returning to the shore.
A little quiet time this afternoon for reflection in this most magical of landscapes, absorb its gentle spirit, and allow your imagination be stirred.
An evening journey to the wondrous Gap of Dunloe, where we will have dinner together. This will be followed by an Irish night of traditional Irish music, song and dance.
Day 3 Morning gathering going deeper into the soul of this ancient land. Our gatherings are ways to draw you deeper into our ancient, yet very much alive, Celtic Spirituality. Travel to the sweet town of Kenmare, where you will have time for walking around or visiting the traditional craft and woolen shops. Then to the Beara Penninsula, County Cork. Stand within a sacred and spectacularly situated stone circle that sits in a glorious location between two lakes. Become acquainted with these rings of standing stones shrouded in mystery.
Travel further down the beautiful and wild Beara Penninsula to the Hag of Beara (Cailleach Bhearra) - a symbolic stone with Her deep cultural meaning, a place full of ancient presence, taking time to be at this place that holds so much mystery. Travel back to our hotel. Evening meal at your own choice.
Day 4 Morning of Celtic Retreat and reflection to have the time and space to begin to absorb the experiences of this Celtic Journey, to turn inwards and reflect in a Celtic way upon this time of travelling on a sacred journey in Ireland. This is a time for solitude, if you so desire, time for taking a breath and being with what this time in Ireland has been offering you. After lunch at our gathering hear about the naturalness of the Celtic World, more about our Celtic Practices and how you can bring them into your life. Hear more Celtic blessings, poems, prayers, music and Celtic Chant in our native tongue - Gaeilge (Irish).
Be introduced to Brigid - our beloved ancient Goddess and Celtic Saint.
Receive Brigid’s Sacred Flame in a natural Celtic Ceremony. Begin to have a sense of the importance of Brigid in the heart and soul of Ireland. Hear some of the myriad of stories about Brigid and the special place She holds in this land.
Quiet evening meal as you choose, as tomorrow we make the journey from Kerry, to some sacred sites in County Clare, and then by ferry over to Inis Mor - the biggest of the Aran Islands in Galway Bay.
Day 5 Brief morning Celtic touchstone about the importance of sacred journeying before we begin our travels from Kerry, by a short ferry ride into County Clare.
Today we are touching into the importance of journeying as we begin our travels from County Kerry into County Clare and onwards to County Galway and over to Inis Mor. We move through the Burren taking the time to stop at an ancient Celtic Monastery where you will also have the opportunity to see one of the Ancient symbols of the feminine – the Sheela-na-gig. We stop for home cooked lunch in a beautiful setting right in the heart of the Burren, County Clare. Before we leave the Burren we travel up a quiet boreen to a Sacred Well receiving another Water Blessing, touching deeper into the Land of Ireland. Travel into County Galway, and out into Connemara where a ferry will bring us to one of our Western Islands - the Aran Islands, the Island we are going to is Inis Mor. (The ferry will take approximately 50 minutes.) Settling-in time at our welcoming family run guesthouse followed by dinner together. Our Guesthouse sits at the foot of Dun Aonghasa (A World Heritage Centre).
Day 6 Here we are on this wild and beautiful Gaeilge (Irish) speaking Island of the west coast of Ireland, and our morning Celtic gathering will reflect this as you continue to deepen your understanding and feel for the Celtic Spirituality. A little time for Retreat...walk on a nearby beach, sit in the garden, journal... on this sacred island of wild beauty...More of it’s sacred treasures await us this afternoon when we will meet a Celtic Monk living on Inis Mor since 1985. He has a deep connection to the Island and he will bring us to some of the sacred sites of Inis Mor, sharing with us the stories of these sacred places.. Later in the day at one these Sacred Sites we will be guided in a traditional Celtic Ritual.

Day 7 Before breakfast you may wish to walk up to Dun Aonghasa (A world heritage site) a semi-circular stone fort, over 3000 years old with views stretching down over Inishmor Island and out into the Atlantic. At our morning gathering we will weave together all the strands of this Celtic Journey in a closing ritual and begin the harvesting of the treasures.
We take the Ferry back to the mainland and our vehicle will bring you to Shannon International Airport or to a Guesthouse in the area, arriving at approximately 4.30pm / 5pm for your return journey or if you are staying a little longer in Ireland we can bring you to Galway City where there are bus and rail links, and car hire.
Each day we will have a Celtic Gathering. Our gatherings give you an internal understanding and feel for the Celtic Tradition – a world filled with mystery and natural wonder. During these Gatherings I introduce you in an authentic and natural Celtic way to Celtic Spirituality and Celtic Wisdom. I share with you poems, music, stories, chants, blessings and prayers of this ancient land allowing the Celtic Spirit and mystery stir your imagination and nurture your heart.....

Cost for the Seven Day Celtic Journey
The cost of this Seven Day Celtic Journey is 1750 Euro
($2239 US Dollars as at November 5th 2012)
This includes all accommodations, all breakfasts, some lunches and four evening meals, ground transportation in our own private coach, leaders, guides, traditional musicians, singers and pilgrimage activities. (If you wish a room on your own a small single supplement applies). If there is not a person to share a room with, a small single supplement will be necessary.
The price does not include airfare, and each participant will make their own flight arrangements. Travel insurance is advised. The itinerary may vary in order to provide the most worthwhile experience under the circumstances prevailing at the time.
